GENERAL SOFTWARE LICENCE AGREEMENT 

1.	This licence applies to the executable code for The Overlay Maker and any 
accompanying distributable files, data and documentation (“The Overlay Maker”). 
By installing, using, distributing, transmitting or copying The Overlay Maker 
you agree to all terms of this licence agreement. 

2.	The terms and conditions of the General Software Licence Agreement are in 
addition to all other terms and conditions provided by the Free Licence 
Agreement or other licence agreement that may be negotiated with Alistair Dickie.

3.	Subject to the terms of this licence you may:

a.	Distribute exact copies of The Overlay Maker to other computer users 
provided you distribute the entire program. This condition may only be fulfilled 
by distributing copies of the program in the same form they were initially 
received. 

4.	The General Software Licence Agreement specifically prohibits:
	
a. Selling, or reselling, or accepting a fee for distributing, or providing the 
The Overlay Maker.

b. Modifying, translating, reverse engineering, de-compiling, or creating 
derivative works based on The Overlay Maker, in whole or in part. 

c. Use of The Overlay Maker for activities or actions, or to support activities 
or actions, that are unlawful under domestic or international law as it applies 
to the jurisdiction in which The Overlay Maker is used. 

d. Using, accessing or distributing registration codes for The Overlay Maker, or 
means to produce one or more registration codes, unless the registration code 
was lawfully obtained through the procedures outlined at www.theoverlaymaker.com. 

5.	If you are granted a licence for The Overlay Maker the following 
additional conditions apply:
	
a. The licence is non-exclusive.

b. The licence to use The Overlay Maker does not include guaranteed access to 
technical support, training, or other services from the author. 

c. If you do not agree to the terms of this licence you must remove The Overlay 
Maker from your computer system.

d. The licence may be terminated at any time if you do not abide by the 
conditions herein. 

e. The licence does not include access to source code. 

FREE LICENCE AGREEMENT

6.	Upon installing The Overlay Maker all users are granted a Free
Licence. 

7.	The Free Licence Agreement allows, without making payment:

a. Free use of the version of The Overlay Maker distributed with the licence for an 
unlimited period of time.

b. Commercial or Government use of The Overlay Maker provided images, data or files 
produced by The Overlay Maker are credited to The Overlay Maker when published. 

c. Images, data or files produced using The Overlay Maker to be sold, or a 
fee to be charged for their use. 


WARRANTY

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR 
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS 
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR 
COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER 
IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN 
CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
